Pasung Indonesia

Pasung, a way in which many Indonesians treat those with mental illnesses, sees mentally ill people shackled by ropes, chains, or other forms of restraints for prolonged periods. Human Rights Watch reports that there are almost 19,000 mentally ill Indonesians still constrained in claustrophobic and small spaces.
