Wesley Langat

Wesley Langat is a freelance Journalist passionately covering news in environmental, climate change and agricultural reporting around East Africa and Horn of Africa. Wesley is writing for various international media outlets including Thomson Reuters Foundation, Climate Home News, News Deeply and local Agricultural Show Magazine (ASK) a government owned monthly publication that highlight on agricultural related stories in Kenya. Previously, he was consulting for Terr Africa, content generation and repurposing of Terr Africa's website. Raising organization’s presence by writing, features, articles and blogs on Sustainable Land and Water Management in Africa for the Terr Africa website. He also worked at Internews in Kenya as a journalism trainer where he trained and mentored journalists in Kenya from mainstream and community media. Imparted them with skills on how to report on various subject that include land and conflict, Democracy &Governance, Oil and Gas. Wesley trained as a radio journalist and has a background in radio therefore has worked as a radio journalist before.
