Pierre Sautreuil

Pierre Sautreuil is a Paris-based freelance reporter. As a Russian speaker, he has been covering Eastern Europe and the post-communist space, reporting in Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia, Serbia, Bosnia. He has been awarded the Bayeux-Calvados Award for war correspondents for his coverage of the Ukrainian crisis, and has written a book about pro-Russian separatists. Since then, he has worked in Mexico, the US and Cyprus, and now focuses on French politics and religion
